The Westview Terrace Civic Association met on October 23, 2023 in the Trini Mendenhall Community Center auditorium. Residents discussed proposed by-laws and deed restrictions. A steering committee was formed to provide input on the documents. Findings will be discussed at future meetings. Houston Police Lieutenant Clifton Holloway gave an update on crime in the neighborhood and his appreciation for the Westview Terrace elected officials and resident’s community involvement in keeping their neighborhood safe. . He reported he speaks to WTCA officers at least once a week. He also spoke about the benefit of having deed restrictions to assist HPD in their efforts to eliminate nuisances and criminal behavior in the community.
The next Westview Terrace Civic Association meeting will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, at 6:30 in room 106 of the Trini Mendenhall Community Center. Please register to attend.
